The Isa Award for Service to Humanity was established in 2009 by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, The King of The Kingdom of Bahrain. Named after his father, the late Amir of Bahrain, H.H. Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, this award celebrates his life-long dedication to humanitarianism. The award is granted once every two years to an individual or an organization selected by a committee of distinguished scholars, experts, and public figures. This year’s award was presented to Dr. Achyuta Samanta - the founder of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Dr. Samanta’s vision is to provide quality education for free to the poor and the underprivileged, empowering them with skills to live harmoniously within the mainstream communities of the world.
Under the recommendation of H.E. Shaikha Mai Bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, President of The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Vahid Associates Brand Futurists (VABF) was commissioned to bring to life the noble spirit of this prestigious event. VABF’s vision for the event's ambience and environment branding centered around the idea of projecting a timeless expression that would reflect the aspirations of the Award concept, while meeting the expectations of an elite audience - a task that was successfully accomplished.
The meticulous composition of various elements of two dimensional visual depictions, articulated three dimensional structures, along with subtle application of ambient lighting, collectively lent a sense of grandeur to the Isa Cultural Centre, making the entire experience borderline magic.

VABF’s experience in producing such institutional events worked in synchronicity with the contribution of other professional organizations involved with the program. Vahid’s personal input in overseeing the design and execution of the event was commended by the higher authorities at the helm of this prestigious humanitarian event.

The event was attended by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, The King of The Kingdom of Bahrain, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, The Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, The Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister. Other attendees included several government ministers, high-ranking members of the Armed Forces and Ministry of Interior, members of the Diplomatic community in Bahrain, media representatives and other high profile personalities.

BIPEX 2015 continues to build its position as a key international property exhibition in Bahrain. BIPEX’s mission to propel Bahrain’s real estate industry forward and build its value, is founded on its ability to showcase the latest market trends while facilitating and promoting an informative dialogue between the industry and the consumer. In this endeavor, back in 2010 BIPEX’s Executive Committee approached Vahid Associates Brand Futurists (VABF) to help position BIPEX as a leading forum that will be able to attract and bring together some of the regional real estate powerhouses.

After a 5-year absence due to the 2011 socioeconomic crisis, with a renewed vigor, VABF was once again entrusted with the task of continuing with the previously conceived strategy and undertake the development of the BIPEX 2015 brand communication program. BIPEX 2015’s new theme and its related implementation program for the upcoming Exhibition were presented and discussed during a key press conference on June 8th 2015, held at the Four Seasons Hotel at Bahrain Bay. The dedication shown by the Executive Committee in driving forward BIPEX's vision highlights its promise to be a partner in the march towards Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 - a vision that Vahid Associates Brand Futurists is proud to be associated with.

Renowned for his concept of Brand Futurity, Brand Futurist, Vahid Mehrinfar captivated the audience with his passionate presentation on ways to induce the chances of success in marketing. “What does it take to stand out and be accounted for in a cluttered and competitive business world” he asked?

“Comfort and ambition don’t go together.” A reality that he pondered on with the audience, touching on that all too sensitive cord in the minds of the attending SMEs and entrepreneurs at the event. He shared the concepts by which entrepreneurs can better visualize the possibilities in their future, and potentially map out the course of their realization more accurately. “You should not be comfortable - let me tell you why! Once your ambition becomes comfort in life, then you have most likely traded off what should be your ultimate ambition... being the best you can be at what you do.

The presentation was a near transformer that generated energy beyond the currency of time and location in which it was conducted. As an entrepreneur himself, Vahid Mehrinfar relates to the struggles synonymous with the life of an entrepreneur. After having built a successful career in the field of creativity and design in the United States in his early 20s, he found himself making the difficult decision of having to reset his coordinates for success once again in the unfamiliar business terrain of the Middle East... Vahid took on the challenge of visualizing a different reality for his would-be success - an outlook which he adopted as part of his armory to achieve success once again, in the Middle East region.

Vahid’s futuristic vision has inspired many organizations and entrepreneurs to take mental snapshots of their future, and support those images with innovative actions towards possible realisations. His revolutionary ideas in Brand Futurity have empowered a vast range of clientele as Corporations, Government Bodies, Financial Powerhouses, Academic Institutions, Prominent Business Conglomerates and personalities.
The forum was an energizing event where speakers shared their entrepreneurial stories with the audience.
